Wedding Teddies and Rag Dolls

	The BRIDE Teddy is dressed in silk dupion, with a veil, jewellery and flowers etc. She can have the names of the bride and groom and the date of the wedding embroidered onto her dress to make her a memento of the occasion to keep for ever. As befits the ‘leading lady’ she has all sorts of little individual touches so that no one bride teddy looks like another. £30
	The BRIDESMAID teddy could be dressed to match your own bridesmaid’s outfit, with her name and a meaningful motif embroidered on the bodice. This teddy could be carried instead of flowers, and would make a cherished gift for any bridesmaid. The couple’s names and date of the wedding can be embroidered onto the dress skirt. She has a head-dress and carries flowers. £25
	This special RAG DOLL can be dressed and trimmed as a bride or a bridesmaid. She is completely handmade with jointed elbows and knees so that she can sit comfortably. She is soft stuffed, has an embroidered face and a funky hairdo. Her clothes can be taken on and off – they include pantaloon knickers, lace trimmed underskirt and a dress decorated to suit the occasion. This can be embroidered to your choice, perhaps with names and dates as a souvenir. She can even have a ‘Luv U’ heart tattooed onto her upper leg! A unique souvenir. £35
	Just for fun! But you had better make sure that she has a sense of humour first! The MOTHER or MOTHER-IN-LAW teddy can have a posh hat, a handbag, pearls and a fur tippet. The names and dates to tie her to your wedding can be embroidered onto her hat brim. An unusual gift that will be cherished for years. £25
	The PAGEBOY or young RING-BEARER is not forgotten. He can have a more boyish bear with a fancy waistcoat. The back of it would be embroidered with wording of your choice, but the front gives plenty of scope for individuality – special material, tie, cravat, hankie, watch chain, buttons etc. Perhaps he could be a ‘best bear’ for the best man, or a gift for an usher. £20
	A nice surprise for the happy couple would be a MASCOT bear. He is a cute and cuddly character, wearing a ‘made to measure just for him’ wool sweater, embroidered with names and dates around an appliquéd heart. Dare we suggest that he could be the first ‘baby’ for the happy couple.. £15
All of the above bears and dolls are suggested starting points for their design. Every one is different, and only started after discussion with the customer regarding colours, ideas and special requests. Also, bears can be special if the wedding itself is different. For instance, a souvenir bear could be a gift for a special person who is unable to attend. Or maybe the wedding is far away, and a teddy could be a substitute bridesmaid.
